ICT&Logistiek 2026 at a glance

ICT&Logistiek is the Dutch trade show for digital innovation in logistics: supply chain software, data, AI, warehouse automation and robotics. The 2026 edition takes place from 3 to 5 November at Jaarbeurs Utrecht, in Halls 8 and 9, and opens to visitors from 09:30 to 16:30 every day.

It runs alongside Logistica Next in Hall 7, and one free ticket gets you into both. The organiser expects more than 10,000 visitors, according to LogiNext.

Three days, two halls and many exhibitors are a lot to take in. This guide helps you plan the visit so you leave with comparable answers instead of a bag of brochures.

ICT&Logistiek or Logistica Next?

Two fairs share the venue. ICT&Logistiek (Halls 8 and 9) is about software, data and AI: WMS, TMS, supply chain platforms, integrations and planning tools. Logistica Next (Hall 7) covers intralogistics: racking, handling equipment and warehouse automation hardware. If your question is “which system should run this process”, start in Halls 8 and 9; if it is “which machine moves this pallet”, start in Hall 7.

The six themes of 2026

The organiser groups this year’s programme into six themes. They are a useful filter for deciding which talks and booths matter for your operation:

  • Connected digital logistics: data flowing from the dock to the network without retyping.
  • Smart automation and robotics: automation that works in a real warehouse, not only in a demo.
  • Deciding with AI: faster and better decisions in planning, documents and exceptions.
  • Control of the operation: real-time grip, also when something goes wrong.
  • Sustainable and energy-aware logistics: performing within energy, CO₂ and capacity limits.
  • Performance and impact: turning technology into measurable results at scale.

Pick the one or two themes closest to your current priorities, and plan around them.

Before the fair: a one-page brief

The best trade-show visits start with one page of preparation:

  1. Choose one or two processes. For example order intake, dock planning, customs documents or carrier communication. A specific process gives every conversation a focus.
  2. List the systems involved. Which WMS, TMS, ERP, portals and spreadsheets touch that process today? Integration is usually where projects succeed or fail.
  3. Write down your current numbers. Handling time, error rate, manual steps per order. You do not need precise figures, but you need a baseline to judge any claim.
  4. Shortlist exhibitors. Use the exhibitor list to select vendors that fit your process and system landscape.
  5. Book meetings in advance. Booths get busy, especially around talks. A reserved slot gives you a real conversation instead of a rushed demo.

At the booth: the same questions for every vendor

Comparing vendors only works if you ask them the same questions. Take this list with you:

  • Integration: How do you connect to our current WMS, TMS or ERP? Through an API, EDI or file exchange? What happens when the other system is unavailable?
  • First release: What would a first, limited release look like for our process, and how would we measure whether it works?
  • Fit: Is this configuration of a standard product, an extension, or custom development? What is not covered?
  • Ownership: Who owns the data, and, for custom work, the code?
  • Support: What happens after go-live? Who do we call, and how fast do they respond?
  • References: Can we speak to a customer with a comparable operation?

Write the answers down right after each conversation. By the end of the day the booths start to blur together.

Plan your route through the halls

The main entrance is on the east side of Hall 8, and Hall 9 is reached through the wide Terras area in the middle of the floor. Our interactive ICT&Logistiek 2026 floor plan shows both halls and the walking route in 3D. If you have meetings in both halls, plan them in one direction so you do not cross the venue repeatedly. Jaarbeurs is next to Utrecht Centraal station, so arriving by train avoids the morning queue at the car parks.

After the fair: turn notes into a decision

Within a week of the fair, put the answers next to each other and score them against your one-page brief. Drop the vendors that could not explain integration or a first release clearly. For the remaining two or three, ask for a short follow-up session with your own data. That is where a demo turns into a realistic proposal.
