This page explains what personal data esnajsoftware.com collects, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers the website only; data processed inside software we build for clients is governed by the agreement with that client.

Who is responsible

Esnaj Software (Rotterdam, Netherlands) is the controller for the data described here. You can reach us at info@esnajsoftware.com for any question about this policy or about your data.

What we collect and why

We do not sell your data, we do not rent it out, and we do not use it for profiling or automated decisions about you.

  • Contact and quote requests: the work email address you submit, the page you submitted it from, your IP address and basic browser information. We use this to answer your request and to prevent abuse of the form.
  • Website usage: aggregated statistics through Google Analytics 4 (property G-M6Z62HZ29N) — pages viewed, approximate location, device type and referrer.
  • Server logs: Vercel, our hosting provider, records requests (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for security and availability.

Legal basis

We process contact data because it is necessary to take steps before entering into an agreement with you (GDPR article 6(1)(b)) and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and keeping the site secure (article 6(1)(f)). We process analytics data on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by blocking cookies or contacting us.

Processors and third parties

  • Supabase (database) stores contact requests submitted through the website forms.
  • Vercel (hosting and CDN) serves the website and keeps request logs.
  • Google (Analytics, and YouTube for embedded videos) receives usage data and, when a video is played, video playback data. Embedded videos are loaded from Google's servers.
  • No other party receives your personal data unless we are legally required to share it.

Retention

We keep contact requests for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting project, then delete them. Analytics data expires according to the retention setting of our Google Analytics property. Server logs are rotated by our hosting provider after a short period.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, have it deleted or restrict its processing, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Send your request to info@esnajsoftware.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Cookies

The site sets no cookies for advertising or profiling. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to recognise repeat visits, and YouTube may set cookies when you play an embedded video. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the content of this site.

Changes

When this policy changes materially we update the date at the top of the page. The current version always applies from the date shown.
